The Rye Bar is a staple in Elmira, where restaurants are found few and far between. The brunch is always scrumptious, and a few of my favorites are the blueberry pancakes, chicken and waffles, and eggs benedict. I would recommend a reservation for brunch, as it gets very busy. The bloody mary is delicious, and if you're with friends I would definitely recommend the bottomless mimosas. I give 4 stars because the food can occasionally be only lukewarm and I love my food piping hot. Otherwise, I certainly recommend coming here!
Have not been to this place for a number of years. Last Thursday friends invited us to join them for dinner there. Glad we went! The food was terrific as was the service. They had a trio playing, which was nice, but a bit loud. Made it a bit harder to have a quiet conversation. Otherwise ourc3xperiencecwasxreally good. We will definitely go back there.
The staff are always kind, and the food is always made up to par. The interior reminds me of a restaurant in Soho and gives me the city Village vibe. Nice spot.
Fantastic food! They change their menu around holidays for special things. The chefs are constantly trying new things and posting the photos on their Facebook page. The staff is away super nice and attentive. The owner keeps dumping money into the restaurant so it always looks great and very clean!
Delicious food, great service, a great place to eat. Pricing was reasonable. The ginger cake for dessert is a must have. Yummy
